Built by Mekuun, the High-Altitude Entry Transport HAET-221 is a drop ship used by the Army of the Republic. Launched from low orbit, the craft is capable of entering the atmosphere, burning through its high-energy shielding system as it sheds off reentry heat. Upon reaching the lower atmosphere, its repulsorlift units kick in, providing it impressive flight capability, but the craft cannot re-achieve orbital flight ceilings.

The Republic assault gunboat was first developed as a massive capital ship, 1,800 meters long, to be used by the Confederacy during the opening space battle. It then switched sides to the Republic becoming known as the GGA support ship, or the "Good Guy A" support ship. It then switched back again to the Separatists before switching allegiances once last time, being scaled down, repainted, and modified to become speeder-sized, and served as a clone vehicle on Utapau.
