What He Is？
他是？
He was a melange of things to people.
对他人而言，他是许多不同意义的混合体。
He knew that.
他知道。
To his brothers during the war, he was their astute and fearless leader, ready to face death without a moment's notice. As of late, he was somewhat the center of anathema, a traitor, a genetic mistake, someone who had abandoned his duty to satisfy his own needs.
对他的兄弟们而言，战时，他是精明又无畏的领导者，准备慷慨赴死，绝无半点犹豫。而今，他身处风口浪尖，他是叛徒，是基因错乱的次品，是将私欲置于天职之上的罪人。
To the Jedi Council，his name once came with reverence and the assurance that a mission would be completed. Now his name was all but taboo, a classified clone whose identity only survived by the whispered rumors of young padawans behind their masters' backs.He was a solider whose mere mention would cause Skywalker's back to stiffen and face to scowl.

To put it simply, he was known as the “scoundrel” who had “taken” the exalted Chosen One's precious pupil.

The ex-clone captain chuckled quietly to himself as he leaned against the cool railings of the small balcony.

The esteemed and valiant Captain Rex, who was known for bringing his foes to their bloodied knees, was reduced to a menacing state that rivaled that of a mouse droid's whenever it concerned said pupil.

If anything was on his mind, it was that the rumors should have been about a snippy and rebellious Jedi Knight stealing one of the most promising captains from the Clone Army and completely eschewing the laws of the Jedi Council.In the end, to Ahsoka, nothing good came from the privation of an experience, whether it was attachment, love, or pleasure.
要是在他看来，谣言则应是另一番表述：一个尖刻、叛逆的绝地武士，偷走了克隆军队中最有前途的上尉之一，竟然还完全逃脱了绝地委员会的制裁。到最后，对阿索卡而言，在经历了千难万险后，什么益处也没得到，除了依恋，爱慕，以及快乐。

He inwardly cringed as he had learned that the hard way.
想到这一路来有多艰险，他心里狠狠抽搐了一下。
His thoughts outside were momentarily interrupted as he heard a rather loud knock coming from back in the room.A peeved groan, the shuffling of bed sheets, and the turn of a body was all it took for the person to fall back to sleep.
他听到身后房间里一声碰撞的巨响，室外的思绪暂时被打断了。一声气恼的呻吟，床单扭扭，翻个身，可人儿回到梦乡。
His lips tugged into an amused smile, his mind telling him her head had probably made abrupt contact with their hard bedpost once again.
他的嘴唇延展成一个被逗乐的微笑，心想，八成她的小脑袋又突然和他们硬硬的床头板“亲密接触”了。
Yawning, he lifted his arms up to the sky, his hands stretching as if to touch the heavens.

He would always be many things to his brothers, the council, and even the senate.
对他的兄弟们而言，委员会而言，乃至议会而言，他总混合着许多含义。
But to Ahsoka…
但对阿索卡…
To Ahsoka he would always be loved.
对阿索卡而言，他永远是伊之所爱。
And as long as that notion remained… somehow, he did not care what others thought of him.
