The Imperial snowtroopers that invaded the Rebel Echo Base on Hoth attempted to ready such a weapon for use against the Millennium Falcon, but suppressing fire from the freighter's surprise underbelly cannon thwarted the Imperials.

The E-Web is a powerful heavy repeating blaster manufactured by Merr-Sonn Munitions and BlasTech. The Merr-Sonn version is typically referred to as the EWHB-10. In common use by Imperial Army forces and stormtrooper units, this repeating blaster is handled by a crew of two, and is mounted on a shock-absorbing BlasTech TR-62 tripod.
