澳小伙穿"星球大战"战士服 跋涉数月筹善款



乍一看像在拍电影，一名“全副武装”的《星球大战》“冲锋队”战士正在路上走

    据英国媒体15日报道，澳大利亚小伙雅各布•法兰西(Jacob French)是经典科幻电影《星球大战》的一名“铁杆粉丝”，他穿上模仿电影中角色“冲锋队战士”(Stormtrooper)而制作的一套沉重的盔甲式服装，决定就以这样的形象走遍澳大利亚，筹集善款。


    据报道，雅各布来自澳大利亚维多利亚州的城市墨尔本，他是“星战”迷的头号世界组织“501军团”(501st Legion)的成员。他最近参加了慈善活动，目标是穿着如“角色扮演”一般的“冲锋队”沉重盔甲服，从珀斯长途跋涉到悉尼，跨越4个州，走完长达4000公里的马拉松路程。

    雅各布穿着“战服”出发，推着一个轻便的小推车，里面装着他的补给品。他计划每天最多走25英里(约合40公里)路程，一星期7天中有5天在路上。报道指，按照这个速度，雅各布可能要到今年12月的圣诞节才能抵达目的地悉尼。

    雅各布除了沿着公路前进，途中还得经过沙漠等不毛之地，穿过那里被一些澳大利亚年轻人当做是“成年仪式”需要历经的挑战之一。

    不过，雅各布对于自己穿着“星战”里的人物服装长途跋涉是一次“超赞”的经历。虽然穿上这样的衣服，一跑步就很热，但他不以为然。位于南半球的澳大利亚目前也是冬天，不很炎热。在出发前，雅各布已经进行了有规律的训练。他说，自己在路上能够吸引过路者的眼球，赢得笑声，这样的经历是有趣的。

    雅各布这次活动是为了给澳大利亚一家帮助患病儿童的慈善机构“星光基金会”(Starlight Foundation)筹集善款，目标是5万澳元(约合人民币34.2万元)。

话说他的头盔耳朵很奇怪，居然是整齐的长方形，从来没见过这样的耳朵。

A Star Wars stormtrooper's captured the attention of motorists and belay some Perth roads(?). 20-year-old Jacob French is hardly moving at light speed. He's walking to Sydney to raise money for a children's charity.

Not so long ago, in a southern(opic??) not so far away, Jacob French began his quest. It's no intergalactic journey, but daunting nonetheless.
The Star Wars fanatic determined to trek more than 4000 km from Perth to Sydney in full stormtrooper gear.

"I got the idea to walk across Australia just before the Melbourne Marathon. And so I thought if I can do a half marathon, I can probably walk across Australia."

His mission to raise money for the Starlight Foundation, Jacob admits his 10 kilogram costume isn't at all that easy to walk in.

"This sort of starting take a lot of hot hours, near 30 days, I thought it was gonna be rainy, so I’m wearing thermo clothes. "

But it certainly attracts attention.

"A few people pull over and grab photos, a lot of people waving and tooting horns, and I've had a few coppers pull over and just check and make sure I'm alright, safety-wise, and where I am going, what I am doing.

The 20-year-old, who's from Busselton(澳洲地名，总算被我google出来了) will travel through the southwest before heading East, a baggie full of food, water, and clothing on hand.

"This almost going all right until the wheel snapped off, some sort of balancing at the moment, but we'll see (???) I will get it(??)

Jacob hopes to arrive in Sydney by December, with 50,000 dollars for the Starlight Foundation.

不过Jacob好一点，他在南半球，现在是冬天—春天。他在盔甲内还穿着防雨的冲锋衣。
