Kaink is an Ewok priestess living deep in the forests of the moon of Endor. She serves as the guardian of the Soul Trees, and the village legend-keeper. An acquaintance of Logray, the Ewok medicine man, Kaink was also skilled in the mystic ways of the forests. Kaink carried a magical staff capped with a crystal, which could emit a beam of mystical force when necessary, or at other times, could be used to hypnotize animals. Kaink accompanied the caravan of Ewoks that went out to search for the humans Catarine and Jeremitt Towani who were captured by a Gorax.
