Noa Briqualon is an old explorer who was stranded on the moon of Endor. When he was young, he spent years as a mid-level scout. When he joined up with his friend Salak to chart the Modell sector together, they crashed on their very first mission. Stranded on Endor, they hid their cruiser, and worked on repairs. The ship's power drive crystal was damaged, and Salak searched the forests for suitable replacement parts. He didn't find any, but was captured by the cruel and evil Marauders. Noa never saw Salak alive again.

Noa spent decades living in a hollowed-out tree, which he carved into a home. His only companion was a small furry forest dweller, Teek. When Cindel Towani was orphaned by the Marauders, she and her Ewok friend Wicket W. Warrick sought shelter in Noa's hut. They lived there for a short time, and Noa grew protective of the little girl.

When the Marauders captured her and took her to their decrepit castle, Noa, Teek and Wicket teamed up to infiltrate the Marauder stronghold. There, he found the remains of his friend Salak, as well as a replacement power crystal from the Towani starship.

With the captives liberated, Noa fled for the forests, to the scout ship that he maintained in the woods. Using the power crystal, he activated his starship weapons and fended off the pursuing Marauders. The old man even engaged in combat with the wicked King Terak, leader of the Marauders, using his walking stick to block the King's fierce sword attacks.

The Marauders were eventually defeated, and Noa repaired his starship. He eventually left Endor with Cindel, and the two plied the stars for some time, before he retired to the Mid Rim, and she made a life for herself as a journalist on Coruscant.

Noa is a gruff old man, but has a kind heart. He has a long white beard, piercing eyes behind spectacles, and an ample belly. He dressed in simple blue and brown robes, and carried a carved walking stick.
